On A Personal Note…

As I mentioned a while back, in my post Livin The Dream, I’ve been fortunate enough to achieve my own life long dream of getting a novel published. Way back in February, my novel, War Witch: Rise, was accepted by Seattle based Booktrope Publishing, and since then, we’ve been doing editing and all the other fun things that comes with getting a novel professionally published.

Before this, I thought getting a manuscript accepted was the hard part. Now I know better. That’s just the first hard part. There are lots of hard parts that come after that. All moving towards that wonderful day the book is finally finished, and goes on sale. Along the way, there were times it felt like sale day would never arrive. That’s just part of the process, as it turns out.

Regardless, we are getting there. All the work is done, pretty much, and we are looking at a December release. So, in about a month, my first novel will go on sale. Well, my first novel to be published by a proper publishing company. I dabbled in self publishing for a few years, but this is a whole different beast. This is legitimacy.

That aside, asking you wonderful people who visit this site regularly to wait another month to buy a book I wrote, provided you decide to of course, didn’t seem a proper way to thank you all for visiting me here, reading my reviews, and choosing to spend your time with me. All of you deserve a little better, a little more.

With that in mind, I am going to provide a link below here, that will let you sign up to get a free copy of my novel emailed to you. In return, all I ask is that you give an honest review when it comes out, at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or at you own blog. If you loved it, great. If you didn’t, then feel free to talk about why. I’d rather have honest views expressed, any day, than be pandered to, or have my ass kissed.

I’m weird that way.

So, if you want to check out my first novel, at no charge to you, here is your chance. Personally, I’d appreciate any help with making my first novel a success, but this is also a sincere thank you to all of you guys who visit me regularly. I really do appreciate it.

Click here, and wait for the email. Read, and tell folks what you thought. Simple as that.

On a purely selfish note, I hope you enjoy the hell out of this book.

Until December, thanks for giving me a chance to entertain you.
